Sea Shanty Cottage is a traditional two-bed fisherman's-style cottage, situated in the working harbour of Newlyn, Cornwall.
Positioned on one of its most famous cobbled streets, the cottage has one double bedroom with a king-sized bed and a further bedroom with bunk beds.
The property benefits from a small private courtyard to the rear with garden seating. Walking distance from everything that Newlyn has to offer, and a leisurely half-hour stroll to Mousehole in one direction, and Penzance in the other, along the promenade.

Newlyn is a seaside town and working fishing port (the largest in England) situated in south west Cornwall. Ideally located for your weekend break or summer holiday to Cornwall, Newlyn is part of the parish of Penzance, sitting on the shore of Mounts Bay with views of the world-famous St. Michael's Mount (an absolute must-do day trip).
Newlyn has become a popular holiday destination due to its traditional Cornish feel, pubs, restaurants, and local attractions such as the world-famous Newyln Art Gallery and Newlyn Film House.
Cornwall welcomes millions of visitors a year with 300 miles of beautiful coastline. With attractions such as the Eden Project; the Minack Theatre and magical Tintagel, you won't be short of things to do. And don't leave without enjoying a cream tea (jam first of course!).

Leave the M5 motorway just after Exeter at Junction 31 and join the A30 trunk road down to Penzance. It’s a 110-mile journey to Newlyn taking approximately two hours. As you reach Penzance follow the signs to Newlyn.
We strongly advise that you don't attempt to drive up to the front of the cottage... Fradgan Place is as stereotypically Cornish fishing village as you can imagine...! Thankfully, the Harbour Car Park is a very short walk away.
By Train to Penzance
There is a regular direct train from London Paddington to Penzance. It is a five to ten-minute drive by taxi from Penzance train station. If you require a taxi from Penzance train station please try the taxi rank in front of the station entrance or ring one of the following taxi numbers below.
